Align Fitness Internship Program – Real-World Experience in Fitness and Sports Performance

Align Fitness is actively seeking dedicated interns for the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. Our hands-on internships take place at our Chadds Ford and Downingtown, PA studios, with opportunities to experience both locations.

Our internship program combines observation, interactive educational sessions, and special projects to enhance your practical skills and fitness knowledge. Throughout the internship, you’ll work alongside and learn from our experienced team members, gaining insight into diverse training programs designed for a wide range of client goals, including:

  • Sports Performance Training
  • Exercise After Injury (Post-Rehabilitation)
  • Golf Fitness
  • General Fitness Goals (such as weight loss, strength, and conditioning)

By the end of the internship, our goal is to make you more hirable and better prepared to start your career in personal training, sports performance coaching, or corrective exercise.

Hands-On Learning with Experienced Coaches
Interns at Align Fitness gain firsthand experience by working with knowledgeable trainers and movement coaches, learning how to assess client needs and implement customized programs.

Diverse Client Populations
Experience working with a broad spectrum of clients, from athletes seeking peak performance to individuals recovering from injury. This variety will give you a well-rounded understanding of different training approaches and client goals.

Skill Development and Career Preparation
You’ll develop key skills in movement assessment, program design, and client interaction, ensuring you’re equipped to pursue a career in fitness, personal training, or sports performance.

 

Internship Program Details

  • Location: Chadds Ford Studio, Downingtown Studio, or both.
  • Structure: Observation, hands-on educational sessions, and special projects.
  • Duration: Available during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters for any hour requirement.
  • Primary Focus: Improving your practical skills and enhancing your readiness for a career in fitness.
